This ground breaking class has two exciting components--dance, and costume design. Each day, students work with a team of professional teaching artists.

Clare Wasserman will guide the group as they design and construct the costumes they will wear for their final showcase performance.

Using musical selections by famous composers as inspiration, Actress/Choreographer, Christina Beck will lead the class as they devise an original story. Next the group will learn to tell their story through movement, using a variety of dance styles ranging from ballet, to modern dance to hip-hop. The class will perform their original choreography at the end of the term (...in costume, of course!).
