FILM MAKERS WORKSHOP

Release your kid's inner Film Maker this summer at Creative Stage!

In Film Makers Workshop, kids will create  their own short film for a public premiere on the big screen at the Electric Ladybug Garden Film Night at the end of the week!  Kids will be introduced to all stages of the film making process from story-boarding, to filming, directing, producing, acting and editing, as they create and film original content.

These young Film Makers will collaborate with high level professional filmmakers Stephanie Little (an award winning writer, producer and actress, currently playing Amy on The Other F Word, an edgy dramatic comedy by Award-winning filmmaker Caytha Jentis streaming on Amazon) and Rafael Hernandez (freelance videographer for companies such as New York Cut & Sew, Stay Woke Harlem, and for the indie group, The Quantum).

Children will spend most of their days shooting "on location" in the Electric Ladybug Garden, Riverside Park, and Central Park, starting and ending each day at "home base" at Spring Bank, 2049 Frederick Douglass Blvd.

Creative Stage is proud to partner with the Electric Ladybug Community Garden, and with Spring Bank for this exciting new program!
