Musical Theater Builders, Advanced

In Advanced Musical Theater Builders, children engage in improv games, and brain storming sessions to develop sketch idea.  Next new a script is created to reflect the children's characters and ideas, and new lyrics are set to famous Operatic, Symphonic, and Musical Theater hit tunes.  Then, children rehearse, memorize and finally perform their original show for family and friends.

• Friday afternoons from 3:30-5:30 PM

• For children in grades 3-5 (this advanced class is designed for children who have completed at least one semester of MTB classes, or one week of MTB summer camp).

• Class size is limited to 12 students

• Located at Peter Norton Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th St.)

• Class dates: 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, (NO CLASS 11/23 for Thanksgiving), 11/30, 12/7, 12/14
